Green Life Innovations VS. the Rest
It’s 2019 and CBD companies are springing out of nowhere, trying to compete in the ever-growing and flourishing legal cannabis industry. Whilst the market is flooded, the quality of CBD products are withering as companies are taking major shortcuts to make their product cheaper, easier to make, and to increase profit margins.
From what we’ve noticed, at this time the only other company that manufactures a consistent product that is popular across the market is Green Roads, which is where the bar is set for quality and consistency. We at Green Life Innovations strive to exceed this standard by making similar quality products that contains more essential ingredients including cannabinoids and terpenes at a price better than our competitors.
The most common type of CBD product is an oil or tincture, and the most common way of putting these tinctures together couldn’t be easier or less effective. The cheap and easy method that most companies practice is a concoction of CBD Isolate mixed with MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides) as the CBD carrier that helps deliver the CBD into the body. This is he cheap and easy method that most companies practice. Unfortunately, the bioavailability of these oil based tinctures is usually at or under 6% which is extremely low and to add to it, the final product has an unpleasant taste. In addition, you can only use these cheaply made oils orally, since oil cannot travel through the sublingual method (under the tongue) for faster, more bioavailable delivery. These poor manufacturing practices are becoming more and more prevalent as newcomers flood the market, which is why Green Life Innovations is trying to raise the incredible low standards of CBD products by creating a CBD tincture that is more bioavailable, includes more cannabinoids per dollar, and also includes other essential ingredients like terpenes to strengthen the effect of cannabinoids. See Green Life Innovations’s article on Terpenes for more information.
On February 5th, 2019, NBC published a news story on 35 CBD companies that proved to have poor manufacturing and testing practices. CBD companies in the Florida market are shorting people of their CBD and falsely advertising their cannabinoid content on their lab results. Companies like Hemp Bombs Gummies contained 2.2mg CBD while they advertised 15mg on the package. Another CBD company, Gold Line lists each bag of gummies containing a “high potency 25mg CBD”, however, tests by Evios Labs of Florida test results showed a content of 10.5mg, less than half the listed amount. A third company, DanisDollHouse.com advertised the “strongest” CBD gummies on the market containing 1000mg per bag, and claimed the gummies would help speed up your surgery recovery. 5 bags of gummies from DanisDollHouse.com tested to have no CBD at all. A shocking blow from the customers who trusted them, as they were receiving a placebo dose that falsely promised them faster recovery.
Quick side note, We’re not making any of these claims ourselves. They have been made by NBC and Green Life Innovations is not taking responsibility for testing of any products other than our own.
Our reaction at Green Life was negative to say the least, minds boggled by the poor standards other CBD companies. Cannabis is a new industry that requires the utmost respect and care in order to maintain it’s legal status for medicinal purposes. Companies that don’t respect the industry or their customers don’t deserve the right to produce in this market, for it is making a mockery of cannabis and the means of manufacturing cannabis products. Ultimately it’s the customer that suffers. This is just one example of a mistake that we at Green Life Innovations will not risk. We also promise not take any shortcuts mentioned earlier. We take cannabis very seriously and take care of the quality and consistency of our products in order to raise the standards of CBD in the nation. Not only do we not take the easy route to produce, but we also go that extra mile so that customers are being taken care of with individualised attention, and products are more effective medicinally and costly.
